My first light only lasted 5 months. I left a one star review stating that. I was then contacted by customer service (Annie) who offered to send me new batteries and I agreed. The next day not only did I receive new batteries, but a whole new light. Which was a good thing because the batteries from the new light were placed in the old light and it still did not work. So I deleted the one star review and leaving this 4 star review mainly because of the excellent customer service. If this light is still working a year from now I will change it to 5 star. It is a very bright light. But I do wish it was more of a soft yellow color to match my landscape lights.

Hello fellow flag flying patriots! I admit the installation on my flag pole wasn't an easy task. I had to use several tools to cut off my ball finial and reattach it after securing the solar light. It took an hour to complete the process. I don't mean to discourage anyone from this purchase though. My light has been in place for a 1 & 1/2 years and still working great! Even on cloudy days, the light is awesome from dusk to dawn. It looks so great that I feel the installation was not an issue at all, well worth the effort.Sincerely,The Good$

Update. This light will not hold up to strong winds of 38MPH. the winds actually blew it off the flag pole and to.the ground busting it into pieces and I have only had it a few monthsReally bright light to shine down on my flags. Easy to install Worth the money

Buying a different light because this flagpole light is the only one you’ll ever need. I’m thoroughly impressed with this one, it’s an easy install like most are but what separates this one from the others is the amount of light it puts off, and the amount of time it’ll shine. Mine is even in a somewhat shaded area and it’ll shine almost all night long, a good 8 hours at least. We have a security light behind our house with an orange light, I set this up in the front yard and it may not put off as much light at a distance, but it shines very bright for the area that it does illuminate.I hardly ever recommend products to my friends or family but this light is one I’d recommend to anyone. I’m actually thinking of buying a couple more just to use throughout the yard in certain places.

Ordered this past fall for a new pole. I set it out in the sunlight to charge it up and tried it a few days later. It gave one short flash of light and nothing since. I had some medical issues in the mean time so nothing got done. I bought another set of batteries thinking the originals might be bad. the replacements wouldn't fit but they came with a charger that I used to charge the originals. Still no light. Also the solar collector came unglued without me even messing with that side of the unit. Very disappointed. Edit..... I was contacted by the company for information so they could send me a replacement light. That was just before Christmas 2024. Haven't heard or seen anything yet. Not impressed. It is now April 15th. Still have not heard another word from these people. I can't say I ever really expected to, but hey, you gotta hope once in a while.
