Advertised as a doorstop. It's under 3 pounds. Can hold a light weight door, but we've been using it for one of my kids that have ADHD & tactile issues. They do well with medication, fidget toys and weighted items. So we use it more for placing in the lap. I don't think this is the intent but works great for us.It comes with care instructions in the tag (if my pix show up you can read). Also comes with a little wooden heart for style or personalization. I would recommend for a cute dorm or for someone with ASD (if their kids do well with a plush toy like this). As it might work. I placed my hand on it to show sizing. Hope this review helps.

The Elements Plush Weighted Fabric Green Dinosaur Door Stopper is a fun option for a daily, functional household item. I'm using this door stopper for my bedroom door and it performs as advertised. My bedroom door isn't heavy and the door stopper is on a carpeted floor. So, I'm not sur how well the Elements Plush Weighted Fabric Green Dinosaur Door Stopper would perform for a heavier door on hardwood floor. It would be better if grips were on the dinosaur's legs or underneath so it probably would slide. At any rate, I like this item very much!

This door stopper is undeniably cute. We prop our front door open for our dog and I was excited for this little dinosaur. Cute, but doesn't hold the door very well. To keep the door open, it falls on it's side; it is able to stand up but with a little too much effort for us. Ideally it would prop the door open on it's own, without me having to situate him evenly on all 4 limbs. He's cute but sleeps on the job for us lol

This has to be one of the cutest ways to hold a door open! Cute to the point of where I want to give it a name:) The weights in this seem to be in his middle rather than near the tail, but he still kind of sits and holds the door open and does so adorably. I think my main overall concern for this is how easily you can clean it, but that is something only time will tell, since it's brand new. If it does not clean well, I will update, but as for now it's a great little door stopper that brightens up my laundry room and is very much recommended!

This dinosaur door stopper is pretty cute. It somehow feels very scratchy. We pulled out some hard poky plastic strings that are just sticking out of it at lots of spots, shown in the photo attached here, which is odd as from the label that shows what the item is made of, I don’t see plastic content, it’s only stating item made of polyester fabric on the outside and polyester filling and sand on the inside. Its design has flaws as well as there are no sand on the four legs, only in the dinosaur’s main body area, so it doesn’t stand that well on the legs when leaning by the door, it would fall over by itself or get knocked over by the door if the door is heavy with some tractions. In my opinion this can be resolved if the legs are filled with sand also.

This is the cutest little weighted dinosaur. The back half of it is very weighted and the front half is not. I figured they’d weight his feet so he could start evenly. However he kinda want to flip past his tail to his backside. So I’d say the weighting is off a bit. However (even though it says don’t use this as a toy) I’m using mine as a weighted stuffed animal. It’s currently sitting beside my son who does not feel very good at the moment. It’s wearing the little heart necklace and watching tv. In the couch it does sit upright towards its bottom. It’s sewed well and does not have any loose cotton or holes on it. I just removed one star because its weighting seems off kilter. Overall a good buy.

We have a bedroom door that tends to open all the way, so we often stick other random things behind it to keep it partially closed. When I saw this weighted doorstop I knew I had to try it. I didn’t want one of those wedge shaped ones because those make the door unable to open when it is wedged, and I wanted something that could still move easily if my kid or cat needed to get into the room. This is an adorable little dinosaur themed one. The weight is in the body and not the entire thing. This is a bit of a negative, because there aren’t weights in the legs so it seems a little top heavy. Secondly, for whatever reason it leans to one side, so you have to position it correctly or it will flop away from the door instead. I don’t think this is necessarily the intent because if you look at the pictures the dinosaur is supposed to be upright. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s an extra consideration that I didn’t think I’d need to worry about. I also think it’s slightly on the big side and would have preferred a smaller dinosaur shape, but I understand people have different sized doors and this needs to accommodate a range of dimensions. I am using this to stop a standard interior bedroom door with carpet, so I don’t know if it would hold up as well to a heavier self-closing style door or with a slippier wood or tile floor. In that case it would most likely need to have some kind of grip on the feet to be effective.Otherwise, it keeps the door closed at the position I want it to without the door creaking open over time. I do wish there were a way to clean this in a washing machine, but I think the weight is too much. If I could improve upon it, I would put more weight in the feet so it’s bottom heavy, and I would add a small handle to grab and move so you don’t have to bend down too much to position it.

I can't think of a cuter way to keep a door open on a breezy day! If you like doors staying open, and you like cuteness, then this is probably a good purchase for you. We love it!
