Small bulbs but perfect for heating a reptile enclosure. The 50-W rating is just right for keeping a turtle or Iguana warm i its enclosure / terrarium. These fit my clamp-on light fixture perfectly. Just keep them at a safe distance to the reptile as they do put out a lot of heat when too close. Halogen bulbs work great for this application.

These lights are so different than what I am used to but they do fit my standard heat lamp head. The lights do heat up and put out a lot of heat so make sure you have them in a correct lamp. I use these for my turtle tank and she seems to like to sun under them.
