Assembly was easy ..watch to orientation of the chain!That could be more clear but all in all I'm impressed by quality for price...No idea how long it will last or how well it will cut but with two chains and two batteries it's a hard deal to beat!

It cut thru 6" limbs like butter of course the neighbor came over to see and he cut a few of the taller limbs and loved it it's light weight and powerfulThe only setback is the oil leaks a little but still well worth the money

As long as you're not expecting this to cut down trees or limbs thicker than, say, 1.5-2 inches in diameter, then you'll be A-OK. It does fine on green wood especially, with more power than expected! Dry wood takes a bit longer to get through, but that's true of any chain based cutting implement. Make sure you keep the lubricant tank full, and don't exert a ton of pressure when cutting. Let the chain do the work for you. As long as you follow those basic ground rules, this is a fantastic little trimmer with construction that is, in my opinion, adequate but not excellent. Just know your limitations with this one and it'll be a great little addition to your toolshed.

As someone who has used high-quality battery-powered saws on my farm for years, I’m thoroughly impressed with the DEVONIC Mini Chainsaw. This 6-inch cordless chainsaw is a fantastic addition to my collection, and I’m happy to give it a 5-star rating.The DEVONIC Mini Chainsaw is powerful enough to handle 2 to 4-inch branches with ease, and despite its compact size, it’s surprisingly efficient. The brushless motor is a huge plus, promising a longer lifespan and reducing energy usage, making it a reliable tool for quick pruning tasks around the garden. While it could probably tackle a 6-inch branch, I prefer using my heavier-duty gas-powered chainsaws for such tasks, but it’s comforting to know that the power is there if needed.One of the standout features is how lightweight this chainsaw is. At under 3 pounds, it’s one of the lightest handheld tools I’ve used, making it ideal for those quick jobs where you don’t want to lug around a much heavier saw. It’s especially convenient for folks who may find larger chainsaws unwieldy.I also appreciate the thoughtfulness in the included accessories: a chain cover, eye protectors, gloves, an oil dispenser for the bar chain oil, a recharging adapter, and two batteries. These extras make the tool even more user-friendly and ready to go right out of the box. The two batteries ensure you won’t run out of juice mid-task, and while they resemble DeWalt batteries in the photos, they are not interchangeable.Overall, the DEVONIC Mini Chainsaw is not designed for heavy-duty work, but it’s perfect for those household pruning projects. Very powerful! The instructions are clear, so it’s easy to set up and use. The chain is easy to adjust, and it cuts with some serious power! The battery lasts a really long time. A very useful and important tool to have around the farm. Love it!

This is a pretty decent little chainsaw that I enjoy using. It's great at getting through some of those small branches you can reach on the ground. It's light enough that you can use it on a ladder comfortably. You do get an extra chain which is nice. It was pretty easy to hook together and the battery life seems okay. Some of the information on the box seems to conflict itself as I show in the pictures. I'm not sure why they have different battery sizes on the same box. I can assure you that it is the larger battery. One issue I had was with the chain coming off a couple of times but that could be just an error on my part. The case is nice but I do wish that you could put the whole thing away with the blade attached. This is kind of an annoying oversight in my opinion. I would love to be able to just open the box, grab the chainsaw and go to work, but instead you have to take the five or so minutes to get it all put together and oiled. I guess it's not a huge deal when I think about it, but it is kind of annoying.

I was hesitant to get this mini-chainsaw as I was concerned it was too small for some of the tasks I had. I shouldn't have worried - it easily zips through small-to-medium bits of wood, and is great for clearing out medium-fill garden or yard spaces if you have loose branches or vines. The real feature is its lightweight, battery-powered nature which is great as it means you don't need to lug (or buy) a gas-powered larger unit unless you have absolutely massive pieces to clear out. But being as small and easy to carry as this is, not to mention efficient, means you're more likely to have this one on hand to make quick work of it.
