This review ONLY applies to the Dell Latitude 5490 I received through Seller Century Computer LLC.The laptop was very clean and looked truly refurbished. The Windows key was valid. It has an 8th generation CPU, and I upgraded it to Windows 11. This model has a touch screen and that works well too. There was one very minor issue and the seller contacted me very quickly. It's hardly worth mentioning but his quick response shows he backs his merchandise.

Extremely Disappointed – Faulty Laptop and Zero AccountabilityReview:I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my experience. I purchased this laptop expecting a reliable device and decent customer service. Unfortunately, it broke down not long after the return and refund frame was due. I reached out to the seller PT Electrical Service hoping for support or at least a resolution – but they were completely unresponsive and unhelpful and took no responsibility for the issue.What’s worse, Amazon was no better. I was met with generic responses and no actual assistance. It's incredibly frustrating to invest this much money in a product, only to be ignored when it fails.This experience made me realize that buying from third-party sellers on Amazon is a gamble. If something goes wrong, you may be left alone to deal with it—and that’s unacceptable for a platform as big as Amazon.I’ve been a loyal Amazon customer for years, trusting that if anything went wrong, Amazon would stand by its customers. Sadly, that trust has been broken.I highly advise anyone considering this product or seller to think twice. If anything goes wrong, you're on your own. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had on Amazon.I give a zero star the computer is wrapped with vinyl wrap to cover the severely damaged surface and the wrap falls off also the computer stopped working 1week after the last day to return.

This is the laptop as the centerpiece of my audio/MIDI research studio. When I got it, it started kicking butt right away, I got it for audio, so 16 gig ram, quad processor, SSD drive all make it hum, it's most notable weakness is that it's only 1.7 Ghz not like 3Ghz & I5. It still is fast and multitasks well.... It is windows 11 Pro, Pro is good....As with all 14" laptops, it's got good real estate on the monitor, but is a little heavy, and a little large, a tradeoff....Hard drive is 512 GB, you might want to trade up to a 1 TB drive. I generally like Dell as an American brand (I don't like HP) and I owned a computer repair company for over 20 years....Gud luk!

Update: I contacted the company/seller of this laptop, and I told them the issue. They asked if I was comfortable with installing a new battery (which I was). They sent out a brand new battery and a brand new Dell charger (which came quickly after the holidays). This fixed the issue with no other problems so far!I bought this laptop as a Christmas gift for my son (first computer). He was excited to use it, got it all set up, and started playing around on it. Less than an hour later, the battery was dead. No problem, just hook up the charger, right? Wrong!! Hooked up the charger and nothing happened. Ordered another charger (hopefully that is the problem), but he will not get to use his computer until 31 December. Disappointed nine year old! Hopefully, the 31st will solve all of the problems, and we will be happy again. I must say, the computer itself was running just fine.

Estoy muy satisfecha con esta compra. La laptop llegó en perfectas condiciones, tanto estéticas como funcionales, y su rendimiento es muy fluido. Verifiqué la información del sistema y efectivamente cuenta con todas las características descritas en la publicación. La batería tiene una duración de aproximadamente 3 a 4 horas, lo cual considero adecuado para un producto reacondicionado. Además, incluye desbloqueo por huella dactilar, lo que añade comodidad y seguridad. El acabado de su pantalla es brilloso lo cual la hace verse muy elegante.Compra muy recomendada.
