I two budgies and this is their window, and most of the day I have curtains open for them except in summer during extra hot days, I close during hottest part of day. So this 12x31 fit perfect under their cat bed contraption keep poop off the floor I made. I wish I could have gone a bit higher with tge film but I can't move their playground any higher. Even though this window faces backyard privacyfence, this film blocks alot of light. They tried to investigate but I discouraged and they don't mess with it. I personally like this for covering portions of windows. I did not have any problems with suction. One of them was a bit stubborn art first but I just cleaned suction cup again and kind of flatten out the cup a bit.I would purchase again! Great product.

I wanted to give these five stars as the quality, privacy, durability, functionality and ease of installation/removal deserve a five star.The only reason for the four stars is that they were listed at 24 inches and actually came in at 23 1/2 inches although they did work for my purpose. There is still a 1/4 inch all around the window that allows penetration of heat and sun. It does keep the room cooler in the summer which typically is extra hot due to attic apartment. They do keep the room dark and require use of room light to see.

Bought this to reduce radiant heat coming in through a west-facing glass door. It took 2min to install and stayed firmly attached to the glass (with the included suction cups) for months until I took it down at the end of the season. Four stars because it took weeks to arrive.

Was a little sceptical on whether this would work but we went ahead to purchase and so far so good. The suction cups have held up and works great for a bedroom window that gets too much light when your trying to sleep.

I the difference in room temperature is almost immediate. I put these screens up right before the sun hits my windows and remove them every evening , as I don’t like to not see the natural daylight. The extra hassle of putting them up and removing them daily is nothing compared for the cooler indoor temperature. My mom, though, keeps them on most of the summer and is happy with the darker room.

Blocks sun good but the suction cups are cheap and don't want to stay fixed to window and yes we cleaned surface
