This jacket is well-made, lined with what appears to be mylar; however, the description does not state what the shiny foil look material is. The body and lining are 100% polyester, and the fill is 80% duck down and 20% duck feathers. (Poor old duck!) The zippers slide easily, and all of the seams are bound. The seams are also well sewn with even stitching.This is a lightweight jacket with a deep, zip outside pocket on each side. There is another extra large inside pocket on each side measuring about 11 inches deep and approximately 6 inches wide. These are open pockets that have no closures.The jacket is quilted, but does not have the puffy, bulky look that many winter jackets have. The collar is a stand up one; however, it can be turned down for comfort.The jacket is long on me, and the sleeves almost cover my hands completely. I do like the length of the jacket; however, I’m not sure what to do about the extra long sleeves. They measure 8 ½ inches in circumference and are slightly elasticized. My wrists measure 5 ¾ inches, which makes the jacket sleeves roomy, and the wristband much too large. The body of the jacket fits slightly snug when zipped over a light weight top. I would say this is a bit off in fit with extra long and large sleeves, but a bit snug through chest and hips. I ordered a large because I wanted a loose fi, and that is my normal size. My weight is 135 pounds.In spite of the fact this jacket does not fit me really well, I think I will enjoy it. The color is a nice, true navy blue.

I've never been disappointed in Columbia products, and this is no exception. It is very light weight, but still very warm. It looks very nice. It fits as expected. It is form-fitting but comfortable. It is plenty long both in the body and the arms, which is a major plus. I always have a hard time finding form-fitting jackets that are long enough for me. I love this jacket.

This jacket is thinner than I expected.It is not a pleasure to wear as far as how the inside of the jacket feels against my skin. I find that I have to wear long sleeves underneath this coat, as the seam down the inside of the arms or something is annoying to me.Also, the top of the neck collar is stiff and not comfortable under my chin. It seems to poke into me when I look down instead of giving way softly.Im not a fan of the inside foil look or feel against bare skin, so again, make a point to wear long sleeves under.I would not buy this again because I think there are much cuter female jackets that could do the same job re: warmth and look cute and be super cozy on the inside too. The collar under the chin on this jacket is too stiff and should give way better under the chin so as not to be bothersome. The waistline could be made to curve just a bit, which would be more feminine and more flattering.Nope. I want to love my coat and this coat is more of one I have to put up with than love..
