Here's the thing. Out of the box, this mount WILL NOT work for an antenna mount. You MUST follow my instructions to a T for it to work properly. (It's really not that much work, don't be lazy)After alot of trial and error I can say that this mount DOES work for cb antenna. You HAVE to make sure you ground the powder coating off where the antenna stud grounds (usually on the underside of the bracket where the antenna is), you have to remove the powder coat from one of the bolts that sandwich the bumper (I chose the middle one and used a stainless bolt and a stainless washer). Then finally you have to run a piece of 1/2" or bigger braid (it has to be flat braid to properly carry rf) and run that from the small hole on the bracket that's INSIDE the back of the bumper to the frame and/or the body. I did both using a self tap stainless bolt through the frame and then again to a bolt next to the spare tire (so that your ground is running to the frame AND the body). With all this done I have a good swr on channel 20 of 1.2 (also DO NOT install the washer on the top three of the bolts or it will hit your hatch and chip your paint. I opted not to run a washer on the top most and bottom most bolt and only one in the middle to get a good ground. That way it doesn't look funny.Personally I think if rago is going to offer this mount as an antenna mount it should come with the rf strap (3 pack on Amazon was under 10 dollars), the powder coat should be removed in the proper areas to prevent confusion, and one of the included bolts and washers should be stainless. Either that or detailed instructions provided like I just suggested. The big one is that the bracket should be counter sunk and use flush mount bolts to prevent paint damage to the hatch.

I ordered this mount not really sure what to expect, what I received was quite impressive. It is very solid and well designed, I recommend it.
