I bought this for my 2009 Honda Civic and it is a great fit. It was very easy to install with the included tape. I drive over 30,000 miles a year in this car, mostly highway miles. This item provides excellent hood protection against bugs and rock chips. It is very minimal and makes my car look even better without being obnoxiously large.

I had tons of tiny rock chips on the edge of my hood so I wanted to cover it with something. It's a sticker type stick-on so it's easy to install and looks good. It's basically flat so I don't know if it'll deflect high enough to avoid windshield. It basically hides my old chips and prevent new ones on the edge which is what I wanted.

When I ordered this item it was offered for a 2010 Honda Civic. It did not ask me if I had a 4 door sedan or a 2 door coupe, which led me to believe that it didn't matter and the hood protector would fit either. Well that's not the case. When I received it I applied it to my hood and then realized that it was about 1/2 inch small. When I read the packaging more closely I saw that this acrylic strip was actually for a 4 door sedan. I have a 2 door coupe. I was never given the option to specify coupe or sedan in the ordering process. Otherwise it's a well made protector. Would have given 5 stars if I was able to actually order the right one.

It adheres well and looks good. It is not raised off of the hood at all. It is more of a protective skin than a traditional hood or bug deflector that stands off the hood surface by a couple of centimeters.

Work Great and easy to put on. Be careful if you live in ontario with our cold winters mine cracked but i was able to glue it. Look Great and work awesome!
