It takes special equipment to remove and install but it works great.

The bushings themselves are sturdy and well made, and made a huge improvement from the worn out bushings these replaced. The only reason I gave 4 stars is just for attention, otherwise these are really 5 star. Beware, lower control arm bushing replacement is a task that you MUST be prepared for. I thought I was more prepared than the average Joe, but I was wrong! No fault of the bushing, but the removal and installation fought me every millimeter of the way. Like stated in other posts, a press is almost a necessity, and proper size adapters are a must. Overall, these bushings solved my loose front end and I hope I never have to do another replacement on this car.

I am extremely disappointed with the Beck-Arnley lower control arms that I installed on my '03 Element about 3 years ago. The bushings that came on those showed signs of cracks in the rubber almost immediately. I got a warranty replacement of the control arms after about a year when the bushings had deteriorated further. Those warranty replacements also failed quickly to the point that one side bushings were completely detached from their housing and the other side had one completely failed and the other 3/4 of the way detached. I couldn't get another warranty replacement so I decided to do my own bushing replacement and keep the control arms. This set of bushings was priced very attractively. I struggled with both removing the old bushings and the new ones. The Autozone loaner press tool doesn't fit around the Element control arm with the cups on both sides. I don't have a shop press, so I used my vise with the cups from the press tool. The lip on the cup lined up just about perfectly with this bushing, but as soon as the force starts building up the cup gets off center and bends the metal on the bushing and pushes it out of round. I eventually got the bushings in far enough to work, but couldn't fully press it all the was as deep as the original because the metal just bent rather than pushing the bushing deeper. A shop press would no doubt have been easier to use than a vise, but I don't know if it would have the same problem bending the metal on the bushing instead of pushing it into the control arm.Now for the good parts- the bushings have been on for a few weeks and aren't showing any signs of cracks or stress the way the Beck-Arnley ones did. The car drives fine on them, so they are getting the job done.

Good quality replacement to fix a torn bushing. These are oversized slightly from the OEM (as intended) and I had to turn them down a bit to get them to go in with a reasonable amount of force in the press.

Perfect fit for 2004 Honda CRV. Old compliance bushings were cracked. Purchased the AC Delco replacements. Getting the old ones out and new bushings in will require patience and the correct removal/installation tool. I used an aftermarket bearing/bushing tool with some effort with my son's help. Side by side these are the same size and diameter as the OEM bushings we pulled off. Even with the purchase of the bushing tool, this is an affordable DIY replacement project for at home mechanics compared to what the dealer quoted for the work.

These bushings are a Achilles heel for the 2001-2005 Honda Civic and 2002-2006 Honda CRV, the last set I installed lasted 5 years so I'm hoping these last longer.
