For context, I usually purchased B. Oshrin Brand Buckeye photo folders from a well-known photo gear source and have been very happy with them. Seeing these advertised with the same name and a similar description, assumed they would be comparable. Well, they are not. These just don't have the same polished, professional look as the B. Oshrin folders. The Pros: lower cost per unit; the embossed foil lines are nice. The Cons: paper stock is softer and not as rigid (ie: flimsier and floppier); edges are not trimmed as nicely with a somewhat ragged look; the paper finish has a rough texture compared to B. Oshrin; the "TAP" logo, albeit very small, is stamped in the outer face of each side, really? And, leave plenty of time for delivery - two weeks from order to receipt, and they were shipped loose in a reused cardboard box with newsprint stuffed in the voids. I hope I can find better quality folders from a seller who cares about preventing shipping damage when these run out.
