I got these in hopes of avoiding having to clean up bits of rubber as with standard water baloons. These worked well but had some issues. They have to hit pretty hard to pop and some of the kids didn't enjoy that. Also you can't just toss them in the water and have them fill. They need to be held open and allowed to close while submerged. Most of the kids were about 5-7 years old and were able to master it quickly, but the younger ones needed help. Overall they were durable and cleanup was significantly easier.

I like these a lot. First, they fill easily. I recommend when you put them in the water have one edge of the magnet engaged still. As it starts to sink it will fill with water and then snap shut on its own. If you have the magnet all the way apart it's 50/50 whether it fills on its own or whether it just sinks. Once it hits the bottom of the container it generally fills on its own but if you've pulled it all the way apart (looks kinda inside out) it will not fill at all until you correct that.Second, fights have reduced between my three kids when they have balloon fights. If one of my kids draws back their arm too quick in an attempt to destroy their brother or sister's face, the rapid change in acceleration causes the magnets to open and they end up getting themselves wet and they throw an empty balloon. This is my absolute favorite part of this. Not a single fight while using these!Third, they're pretty dang durable. I've only had them for about ten days but they have been used extensively. Looking at their price point, they have already paid for themselves. All are still in service and I see no signs of damage.Lastly, I'm not picking up bits of balloon all over my property and feeling guilty about rolling through hundreds of balloons.

My household loves playing with reusable water balloons during the summer, however, this style did not impress. For whatever reason, these water balloons don't seem to fill up all of the way and water spills out mid throw because of it, yet at the same time, they do not easily break when they hit their target. At around $20 for only 6 reusable water balloons, there are better alternatives out there.

My kids are always pleased by water toys & I love that these water balloons are reusable. Easy to carry & use & my kids have had a lot of fun with them.

Good pieces that make any water balloon fight better. No more filling up the ballons and tieing them by hand. It would take me hours to tie and then 2 mins for my kids to blow through the entire amount. Now they just need a water bucket "base" and they can throw until tired! Great value for the price.

Love these water balloons. No more mess with regular balloons. My kids have really enjoyed them and they are good quality. easy for them to do themselves. magnetic closure, closes well.

These are very durable and great for parties! You need to buy more than one set, but it is a good value! They last for at least the full summer! My boys absolutely love these!
