The first thing I noticed was that this adapter is made of surprisingly heavy duty metal. Aluminum, I believe. For my particular application, I needed to bend the flange a bit, and it did not bend easily. The second thing I noted is that the paint is really durable. Bending the metal did not impact the paint at all. It looks really good, and was easy to install. Who knew that rainwater would cascade down a chain? But it does. These adapters are well worth the price.

If you want to have your rain chain connect seamlessly through your gutter this works well. We have a small gutter on an awning and this fit perfectly in the downspout opening. This basically allows me to hook up the rain chain easily and ensures water flows though the center of the chain, and not the side.Same quality material of the rain chain and holes to hang it.A must have if you want your rain chain to look good!
