This silicone baking pan is a game changer for me! In the interest of following a healthier lifetyle, I make egg cups for breakfast and then freeze them so I can make a fast meal. But making them has been a nightmare because egg sticks to the pan (even non-stick pans). I tried using muffin cups, and that was a disaster as well. This silicone pan makes it so much easier to create my egg cups for two reasons: 1) the silicone allows the cups to simply pop out without sticking to the sides, and 2) the hidden metal ring around the outside allows the entire pan to be transported into the oven, fridge, or freezer without requiring an additional pan underneath for stablity. It's a brilliant design! You still have to spray the cups lightly with cooking spray, but I would do that anyway. This is so versatile too; I could see using it to freeze fresh fruit in water to create ice cubes for summer lemonade also. Love this silicone muffin tin, and will be ordering another one for my larger batch cupcakes and muffins!

I'm so happy to be using this silicone muffin pan instead of a metal one, because my metal muffin pans are so hard to keep clean. They get cake batter or muffin batter baked onto them and it is such a bear trying to clean it off, and it is so unappetizing to use pans that aren't totally clean. This silicone pan solves that problem! I love how the silicone just lets muffins and cupcakes fall right out of the cups, even if I don't use paper liners. The baked-on drips of batter also wash right off of the edges of the pans. I love that this pan is easy to get 100% clean, and it looks like new afterward. One plus is that if your cupcakes or muffins do happen to stick to the pan, since silicone is flexible, if needed you could just push the muffins up from the bottom, basically turning the cup inside-out to pop out the muffin.Due to silicone being sort of wobbly and flexible, the manufacturer designed it to have a metal frame around the outside edge of the pan. You can't see the metal frame because it is encased in the silicone, but you can certainly feel it that it's there, and it gives the flexible pan stability. The listing photo kind of makes it seem like the metal rim is separate and removable, but the metal frame is completely made into the pan and the whole thing is all one piece. There's a little grab handle on each end of the pan, and this is also part of the metal frame, so there's stability when using the grab handle. Overall, this pan is a terrific choice if like me, you have trouble getting and keeping muffin pans clean. It's also terrific because it easily releases muffins and cupcakes and it washes completely clean without bits of burned batter being a problem to remove.

I have been needing a muffin pan for a while. Every time I went to make muffins, I'd realize I only had the mini muffin pan and had to change my muffin plans. Then I'd forget next time I was out shopping and it never made it on a list. So when I saw this, I snapped it up.Normally I bake in paper muffin cups (but still need the pan) so the nonstick nature wasn't as big of an issue. Still, it's nice to sometimes just pour batter in the cup without fiddling with the paper cups but then the pan has to be oiled or have a good enough nonstick surface that they pop out easily and even if they do have a surface like that, they never stay that way.I have had poor experiences with silicone muffin pans because they were so floppy I had to use a cookie sheet to support the pan or else it would flop over and ooze everywhere. Every now and then, I'd forget to put it on the cookie sheet first and then have to delicately move it over while praying I didn't bump anything on the way. And then the cookie sheet takes up more space so there's less room for additional muffin pans. But the frame in this changes everything. Now I can just pick it up and plop it in the oven.I will admit, the heat distribution of the silicone pans isn't as good as a heavy metal muffin pan. That may affect baking in some situations where the silicone pan isn't the best choice. But I'm talking about muffins to munch on at home, nothing fancy.I will still likely use paper muffin cups with this pan because the pan's cups are on the shallow side and I need more height without spilling over. However, because it's easy to pop the muffins out of the pan, that means even when I get dribbles over the edge of the paper cup, I don't get torn paper and damaged muffins when trying to get them out.

Silicone Muffin Pan for Baking with Metal Reinforced Frame, 12 Cup Regular Size Cupcake Pan Scarlet Red: For quite a while I have avoided silicone pans, as they are so flexible that I thought I would end up with a mess on my hands, literally. Now, I have discovered the silicone pans with metal frames, and I don't think I will use my metal pans anymore. This muffin pan is wonderful. The frame makes it sturdy and easy to handle. My muffins baked evenly and easily popped out of the pan. I had an issue with one muffin breaking, but it had less batter in it than the others, as it was the batter left over after filling the other 11. There was very little residue on the pan, and cleaning up was easy. The best thing is that this pan can go in the dishwasher and won't develop rust like metal pans. It is a good value and a welcome addition to my kitchen.
