Most of the time this worked beautifully! However, the stirrer has a little space between it and the bottom that a popped kernel can get stuck, then the whole thing is stuck. This results in unpopped kernels, burned popcorn, and most of it stuck in the kettle. This was purchased for a small hospital, fast output was important in trying to deliver fresh popcorn to each department quickly.
