After much trial and error we have developed a superior wax based on our proprietary blend of 3 types of wax along with added protective polymers which means the wax will last longer and you can keep playing longer between waxes. Paste consisting of natural and synthetic waxes and protective polymers Before you play a game of Crokinole on ANY board you should wax both the board and all the discs. The slickness of the board will determine the speed of the discs and an inconsistent speed will mean less control for the players. There have been boards made of solid hardwood, plywood, veneer, metal and even glass and acrylic, but all of them will play the same if the board is well waxed.
